Meet Santa & Mrs. Claus!

Each December, Santa and Mrs. Claus make their annual journey around the world, but there’s one stop they both look forward to every year—Minerva Park! The Clauses have been visiting the village for as long as anyone can remember, and they say it’s one of their favorite places on the map.

Santa loves how Minerva Park looks from the sky. “It’s easy to spot,” he says with a chuckle. “The lights around the lake and the glow from all those decorated porches make it look like a holiday card come to life.” Mrs. Claus agrees and adds that she always notices the extra sparkle coming from homes where families have stayed up just a little too late wrapping gifts or hanging stockings.

Mrs. Claus especially enjoys seeing the handmade decorations and wreaths that neighbors craft together each year. She says Minerva Park reminds her of the kind of cheerful, close-knit village that makes the holidays so special—where everyone knows one another and looks out for their neighbors.

The Clauses also have fond memories of the cookies and treats left out by local families. “Minerva Park kids always leave something creative,” says Mrs. Claus. “Last year, we even found a note reminding Santa to take a carrot for the reindeer!”

When the deliveries are done, Santa and Mrs. Claus take one last quiet ride around the lake before heading home. “It’s peaceful here,” Santa says. “There’s a warmth in Minerva Park that you can feel, even on the coldest night of the year.”

The Clauses agree that the best part of visiting Minerva Park is the joy that fills every home. As Santa puts it, “It’s not just the lights or the presents—it’s the spirit of the people here. That’s what makes Minerva Park shine.” Santa is very excited to see everyone at the MPCA Children’s Holiday Party on Sunday, December 14th!
