The Minerva Park Community Association awards three homes who bring the holiday cheer every winter - the annual Festival of Lights. We wanted to extend that celebration of our festive neighbors by adding a "Festival of Frights" to recognize the spookiest ghouls and goblins in the village. Without further ago, congratulations to our first annual Festival of Frights winners!

While we don't have pictures to share, they were amazing representatives of the best of fall - animated singing pumpkins, lights, inflatable ghosts, creepy spiders, and graveyards. Both winners will receive a $50 gift card to the home improvement store of their choosing.

There were several AMAZING haunted and festive homes this Halloween. Next year, I recommend a trip down Jordan Road, Maplewood, or visit Councilmember Grant's haunted graveyard on Farview. There were even homes with animations setup to celebrate Diwali!

Happy Halloween and happy fall y'all! Make sure to decorate and stay tuned for our winter holiday winners!
