Meet Cynthia Stockman. Cynthia lives on Woodley Road with her partner, Aaron, and their kids: Ava (13), Roman (4), and Camila (3) and their two dogs, Ace and Lola. Cynthia was born and raised in Miami, Florida where she also attended the Miami Art Institute studying Graphic Design. After college, she moved to Atlanta and lived there for about a decade. Cynthia wanted to be closer to family so she moved to the Columbus area. That’s where she met her now partner, Aaron. Cynthia and Aaron moved to Minerva Park in July of 2022. Cynthia shares that she was 7 months pregnant with Roman at the time, and it was the 6th house they had made an offer on. When their offer for the Woodley home went through, she was so relieved. When asked what drew her to Minerva Park, Cynthia shares that she loves the mature trees, the safe and friendly neighborhood, and the close proximity to her friends and family. She likes that there’s a community building, which she’s had her kids’ birthday parties at, and that there’s a pool. Even though her family is now outgrowing their house, they don’t want to leave Minerva Park. She loves that her kids have playmates in the neighborhood, that their schools will be right here in the village, and that she often stops to talk to neighbors on evening walks.

Cynthia’s hobbies include decorating and interior design, thrifting and repurposing furniture, and tending to her many house plants. She also enjoys traveling, citing Guatemala and Mexico among her favorite destinations. Cynthia shares that her parents were from Guatemala, and she is bilingual in English and Spanish. She speaks Spanish to her children in hopes that they will continue to pass down their family heritage. Cynthia combines her love of languages and design in her work for Wendy’s International. She designs visual advertising and menus for Wendy's locations abroad.

Cynthia also recently got her realtor’s license, so if you want to talk with a neighborhood local on buying or selling a home, consider Cynthia. If you see her out and about in the neighborhood, stop and say hello!
