Meet the Chandlers! Rob and Tiffany found their home on Minerva Lake Rd. in November 2017 and officially moved in after marrying in April 2018. When house hunting, they had a few must-haves: a garage, a basement, and a home with character. After touring the house and meeting some great neighbors, they made an offer the next day!
After settling in, they quickly realized they had hit the jackpot — both in the neighborhood and the neighbors. The 2700 block hosts parties like Christmas in July, and neighbors enjoy breakfast together when off for federal holidays. While they wish traffic on their street would slow down a bit, they enjoy being close to the community building and in a tight-knit neighborhood with a strong sense of community.
Rob grew up in North Westerville and spent 32 years with the City of Worthington, rising from summer mowing & road crews to a project manager after earning his Communications degree from Otterbein. Along the way, he nurtured his lifelong passion for music, and two years ago, he decided to pursue it full time. Today, Rob is the proud owner and chief sound engineer of Neverending Studios!
Tiffany is from Georgia, near Lookout Mountain, and has a degree in Interior Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She works as an Interior and Architectural Designer at Stellar Construction, where she brings clients' visions for interior and exterior remodels to life.
Their shared Christian faith brought them together—Tiffany was looking for a partner who lived his faith, and found that in Rob. A long-time church musician, he’s now an elder at Church 860, where both are active members.
They share a creative spirit and the same quirky sense of humor — and they both love motorcycles! Rob has been riding since he was young and has taken several solo road trips. Tiffany took a riding class as an adult and prefers to stay local for now, but Rob’s got his sights set on another adventure and is hopeful Tiffany will join him on the open road soon!
Fun facts:
Tiffany awoke thinking of joining the dating site Match and created a profile with questions aimed at finding a partner who actively practiced Christianity. Two days later, Rob logged in for one last look before closing his account — and there was Tiffany’s profile. He had all the right answers (and even asked the questions back!). They started chatting, both closed their accounts, and soon after, fell in love.
When the couple met, Tiffany didn’t know much about music, but she was working for a company called Kentix that manufactured noise control panels. She was creating shop drawings for installs at some major recording studios.
Tiffany explores her creativity in many ways, including glass mosaic, bead jewelry, watercolor painting, and creating wedding cakes. Many pieces of her art adorn the couple’s home.
Tiffany is a dog lover and used to foster greyhounds. She once had 5 dogs, and now the couple shares an adorable pup named Tulip.
While their motorcycle trips are local these days, Rob has taken many adventures. In 2018, he set out on a solo trip covering over 400 miles and seeing some historical music sites in Nashville and Mississippi.
Rob and his pastor recently started a podcast called Live860. Click here to check it out.
