Friday, May 27
Porketta Food Truck - 4pm-7pm at the Community Building. We are a one-of-a-kind food truck specializing in Porchetta and other slow roasted meats. We offer an innovative and rustic menu that is sure to please. Their menu can be found here. With dishes named the Pigcasso and Pork Sundae, how can you go wrong?!
Uptown Westerville 4th Friday - 6pm-9pm. Enjoy entertainment, food trucks, pop up vendors, and your favorite Uptown Westerville restaurants and retail shopping. The theme for May is Americana and features a performance in the City Hall Courtyard by Luke Mossburg Music. Get there early and enjoy the recently expanded DORA district!
Saturday, May 28
It's Memorial Day weekend and the Minerva Park Pool opens at noon! There will be food, grilling, and a visit from Little Ladies Soft Serve truck! This Minerva Park favorite will be at the pool from 1-4pm. Stop by for a sweet treat, get a pool membership and kick off summer!
Saturday concludes with the MPCA Movie Night featuring The Sandlot! We will kick off pool season with this summer classic! Bring a chair, a blanket, fixins for s'mores, and snacks for our first outdoor movie night of the year. MPCA will have popcorn available. In addition, the Kona Ice truck will be available from 7pm-8:30pm. Come grab a cool treat and watch a movie under the stars!
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
While there are celebrations and festivities all weekend, please take a moment to pause and remember the reason for the long weekend. We remember and honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. To all those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we remember and thank you.
